Bob Plowman


Retired and living in Bedfordshire with wife Margaret. Three sons spread around the world with four grandchildren. Worked for MOD for 31 years in Wind Tunnels and Flight Simulators, two years with Formula 1 racing team and 11 years for the Railways. Played club cricket in the Northants County League, represented Bedfordshire at junior levels and Minor Counties until 2000 and then 50+ and 60+. Originally right arm fast opening bowler now off-breaks. Left hand middle to lower order batsman. Twenty Five years playing for MOD against Civil Service teams and represented the Combined Civil Service. Trialled for Northants CC with Wayne Larkins and was offered chance in professional cricket but declined in the Packer era.
