Nigel Belletty


Born in Calcutta, emigrated to England in 1964. Took to wicket-keeping at the age of 14 but lost touch with cricket at University. Qualified Chartered Accountant moved Bristol and started playing regular club cricket for Stoke Bishop CC. Has fulfilled roles as Captain, Chairman and is now a Life Member. Began 50+ cricket for Somerset in 2007 and now plays for both 50+ and 60+ as well as occasional club games for Chew Magna CC. Currently holds the wicket-keeping record for most dismissals in Seniors
Cricket at County level. Married with three children in their twenties he is on the path to retirement and is employed as part-time Assistant Secretary at Henbury Golf Club. Single figures golf handicap – no wonder!
